Everyone has to start somewhere, right? Right…
Well we at HBA believe that if you are selling your stuff, putting it in exhibits, or calling yourself a professional, it had better be DAMN good. Like, so damn good old ladies explode upon seeing it and men swear off sex for having known something better than all the orgasms they will ever have for the rest of their lives.
If it isn’t that good then be humble, god dammit.
The world is saturated by artists who received too much encouragement from their family for the mediocre things they produce.
That’s a beautiful photo Vi, just remember to put grandma’s sheets back on her bed when you’re done.
Critique or just plain making it public that you don’t like something is now viewed as cruelty and bullying. The mediocrity peddlers scream about copyright infringement ONLY when someone isn’t pandering to their “amazing artistic abilities”.
The hypocrisy and search for only good feedback must end!
WE ARE HALF BAKED, WE OFFERÂ UNSOLICITEDÂ CRITIQUE!
